Who We Are Looking For:
We're seeking a Cloud Engineer with 5+ years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms to join our Global Information Technology team.
Collaborating across time zones with our Digital team and others, you'll design, implement and maintain scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure. You'll join a passionate and forward-thinking team using the latest tools and technologies to support cloud migration, optimize performance and ensure best practices across multi-cloud environments.
This position will be open for a minimum of two (2) days and will remain open until filled. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is closed.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
  • Designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Architecting and implementing secure network solutions, including VP.
  • Cs/VNets, subnets, routing and connectivity.
  • Configuration and management of Palo Alto Firewalls, network security groups and security controls.
  • Maintaining and extending existing Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK, TypeScript), proposing improvements through standard review processes.
  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and security using cloud-native and third-party tools.
  • Support cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud architecture.
  • Designing and maintaining secure connectivity (VPN, site-to-site, client VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).
  • Maintaining infrastructure supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions runners, cloud environments, deployment targets).
  • Supporting vulnerability response processes and remediation timelines.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving cloud, network, and firewall-related issues.
  • Support deployment infrastructure for web applications and on-premises software distribution.

Requirements For Success:
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Agile practices is preferred.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Positive and professional attitude, resourceful nature and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
  • Highly trustworthy with the ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Outstanding communication skills and team-oriented mindset that encourages effective collaboration.
  • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines, time zones and cultures.

Essential Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 5 + years of experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proven hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts (VPC, VNets, subnets, routing tables, DNS).
  • Experience configuring and managing firewalls and security controls (Palo Alto, AWS Security Groups, NACLs, Azure NSGs, Azure Firewall, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience in designing secure network connectivity (VPNs, private endpoints, hybrid networking).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Preferred:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect certifications.
  • Experience with advanced networking and security architectures (zero trust, segmentation, private networking).
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

Additional Details:
  • Travel may be required.
  • Occasional long hours and after-hours work may be required.

Compensation:
  • The projected salary range for this opportunity is $107,427 - $124,284 annually.

In accordance with Colorado law, the posted salary range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualification. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses. A comprehensive benefits package is available for this position.
