We are pleased to announce the opening of a Subject Matter Expert I – Force Operations, who will join our Engineering Services Division in the National Capital Region (NCR) and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control market spaces. Qualified candidates will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) Research, Development, Test & Evaluation, Engineering, and Technical Support (RETS) IDIQ contract providing strategic planning expertise and joining our team of industry partners and technical subject matter experts in delivering engineering Research, Development, Test, Evaluation (RDT&E) solutions and services. The candidate will serve as a senior member of the RETS technical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic planning development, implementation & management aligned to leadership priorities.
  • Conduct research, wargaming and analysis for pre-decisional advice/policy recommendations.
  • Identify, prioritize and lead high-interest cross-functional projects.
  • Serve as supervisor, team or project leader.
  • Support senior leadership advisory & executive communication.
  • Provide technical support to the complex, technical RETS IDIQ and relevant Task Orders (TOs) and confer with IDIQ task order project managers to provide technical advice and to assist with problem resolution.
  • Review technical data and documentation and provide analyses and recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant supervisory of leadership experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant Department of War experience.
  • At least 8 years of relevant strategic planning and research and wargaming experience.
  • At least 8 years supporting high interest project leadership and executive communication.
  • You must possess TS Clearance w/ Eligibility for SCI and SAP. An active TS/SCI clearance with previous SAP experience is preferred.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military or Department of War experience.
  • Multi-disciplinary intelligence & counterintelligence experience.
  • Senior Service School in residence.
  • History of highest-quality deliverables in a complex delivery model supporting multiple customers and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in communicating with DoD and other US Government senior leadership.
