Job description

The Residential Garage Door Installer Technician will be responsible for the professional installation, service, and repair of residential garage doors and openers. Key duties include:

  • Installation: Installing new residential garage doors, tracks, cables, springs, and openers (belt drive, chain drive, screw drive) according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs on existing garage door systems, including spring replacement, cable repair, track adjustments, and general maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Interacting professionally with customers, explaining repair/installation procedures, answering questions, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction upon job completion.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory of parts and tools on the service vehicle.
  • Documentation: Completing all necessary paperwork and electronic documentation accurately and promptly.
