1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:This senior role coordinates data asset risk activities for Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB). It focuses on the ongoing management of risk associated with data assets - including models, end-user computing (EUC) tools, and reports. The role partners with data asset owners, risk advisors, business line stakeholders, and technology partners to ensure data assets are inventoried, risk-rated, governed, and monitored in line with enterprise data governance policy. Although focused on data asset risk, the role may also execute data governance responsibilities including risk control execution and regulatory/audit support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Coordinate the inventory and ongoing maintenance of CSBB data assets - including models, EUC tools, and reports - ensuring accuracy and completeness of required attributes.

  • Partner with data asset owners to confirm ownership, usage, criticality, and control expectations for models, EUC tools, and reports.

  • Monitor data asset risk on an ongoing basis, tracking changes to the inventory, risk ratings, and remediation ofidentifieddata asset risks.

  • Coordinate data asset risk reporting for governance forums, working groups, and risk committees.

  • Provide status reporting on data asset risk, including inventory changes, open items, and remediation progress.

  • Maintain data asset records andrequiredfields within the applicable inventory and governance systems of record.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in data governance, data risk management, or a risk/control environment.

  • Understanding ofdata assets such as models, EUC tools, and reports, and the risks associated with their development, use, and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk, data, analytics, or related field.

  • Experiencemaintaininginventories and coordinating risk information within governance or risk systems.

  • Experience preparing status reporting on risk, open items, and remediation progress.

  • Knowledge of data governance concepts including data quality, lineage, critical data elements, and critical business processes.

  • Experience maintaining or governing asset inventories.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to provide clear, defensible rationale for risk classifications.

  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills across business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders.

  • Ability to coordinate work across teams and stakeholders.
