Job description:

  • Enterprise Blueprinting: Define the target state cloud data architecture and enable a secure transition from legacy core banking systems to modular real-time analytical models
  • Lakehouse Leadership: Lead the design and optimization of the enterprise Databricks ecosystem, leveraging the Medallion Architecture Bronze, Silver, Gold for both streaming and batch workloads
  • Unified Governance: Establish data security, fine-grained access control and end-to-end lineage across multi-cloud environments using Databricks Unity Catalog and certified governance tools
  • Banking Domain Alignment: Design scalable decentralized data structures, Data Mesh aligned with regulatory requirements such as BCBS 239 and AML

Core Qualifications

Must Have

  • Experience: 10 years in enterprise data architecture and modelling
  • Cloud Data Mastery: Strong architectural experience with major cloud platforms Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure and open data formats such as Delta Lake and Apache Iceberg
