AI Enablement and Automation Lead
Detroit, MI (Hybrid/Onsite Tues-Thurs)
W2 contract role
12 Months then eligible for Contract renewal

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Enablement & Automation Lead to drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Copilot technologies, and intelligent automation across Corporate Applications and supported business functions. This role will serve as a strategic advisor, solution leader, and change agent responsible for identifying AI opportunities, developing automation strategies, enabling business adoption, and delivering measurable business value through AI-powered solutions.

The successful candidate will bridge business and technology teams, helping transform operational processes, improve employee productivity, enhance decision-making, and accelerate digital transformation while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements. This role aligns with emerging AI adoption, enablement, and governance practices identified across the organization.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and implement AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and related technologies.
  • Lead the creation of conversational agents, copilots, workflow automations, and knowledge assistants.
  • Collaborate with application teams supporting SAP, HR, Documentum, ServiceNow, Physical Access, and other enterprise platforms to integrate AI capabilities.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production-ready AI solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SOX, NERC CIP, privacy, and data protection standards where applicable.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Business Analysis, Automation, or Enterprise Applications.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing AI, automation, analytics, or digital workplace solutions.
