Corporate Scheduler Position
The Corporate Scheduler supports Wieland's project teams by serving as a trusted resource and problem solver for project scheduling, helping ensure that project timelines are well thought through and aligned with Wieland's contracted schedule commitments.
A typical day may include developing and maintaining baseline, master, and detailed project schedules from preconstruction through closeout, leading Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify task dependencies and sequencing, partnering with Preconstruction and Operations to build out preliminary and full project schedules, reviewing and validating schedules prepared by others for logic and accuracy, coordinating with the VDC team to align schedules with project models, monitoring progress and assessing schedule risk to recommend timely interventions, and delivering monthly schedule analysis.
The Corporate Scheduler has the opportunity to make an immediate impact on Wieland's project portfolio and play a meaningful role in keeping construction projects on schedule, on budget, and aligned with Wieland's contracted commitments.
Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Corporate Scheduler Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in construction scheduling, specifically Critical Path Method (CPM) planning and scheduling
- At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing a range of different construction project types
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques and the ability to resource-load project schedules to provide insight into site labor demands and support leadership decision-making, with experience using Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) or P6 scheduling software preferred
- Ability to balance multiple project schedules at once while continuously reprioritizing workload demands, and to travel to project sites in Michigan and Louisiana as needed

This is an in-office position supporting Wieland’s Michigan and Louisiana project portfolio, with travel to project sites as needed.
