Onward Healing Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to gauge the mental health needs of clients and design individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Engage in regular follow-ups with clients to evaluate progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and motivate clients as they work toward their mental health objectives.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document sessions and treatment outcomes.

Our clientele consists of a broad spectrum of individuals dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current and active LMHC license in Vermont.
• Demonstrated understanding of ethical practices and sensitivity to client confidentiality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Competence in working independently as well as in collaboration with a close-knit team of professionals.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Experience with a diverse range of therapeutic techniques and client demographics.
• Prior experience in community health clinic environments is a plus.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
