Job description

Facility in Silverdale, WA seeking Urology locums coverage Rates: Orientation $150/hr (typically 4-8 hour long). Hourly $400/hr. Nightly Call $800 Per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis. On Call (Daily) $3200 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis. Call Back $425/hr Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed. Opportunity Highlights
  • Schedule: Monday Friday Clinic (8a 4p) with a mix of night call (5p 8a) and 24-hour call (7a 7a).
  • Call Rotation: 1:6 ratio. Provider should expect 5-6 days of call per month minimum.
  • Commitment: Minimum 3 months of coverage required. July onwards is open every week.
  • Volume: patients per day in clinic; surgeries per month.
  • Support: Sole provider in the department, supported by 2 RNs, MA, Surgery Scheduler, and front office staff. Hospitalist team handles admissions.
  • Technology: Epic EMR. Robot available on-site (robotic proficiency welcomed but not required).
Key Duties & Procedures
  • General Urology: Bread and butter cases including Cystoscopy, Vasectomies, Prostate Biopsy, TURP, Ureteroscopy, Nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections.
  • Inpatient: Rounding and consults (20% new consults / 80% established patients in ED).
  • Orientation: Clinic manager will provide a tour and orientation prior to start.
Requirements
  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) highly preferred. Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) will be considered.
  • Licensure: Active Washington (WA) License highly preferred, or IMLC with LOQ in hand.
  • Certifications: BLS and DEA required. ACLS/BLS can be obtained if selected.
  • Clean Malpractice: Highly preferred.
  • Availability: Must be able to cover 80% of open dates and provide specific availability through February 2026.

  • April: 1-3, 6-10, 13-17, 20-24
  • May: 4-8, 11-15, 25-29
  • June: 1-5, 8-12, 22-26, 29-30
