BCS Allegient has a 35-year history of helping government, research, and private sector clients implement their programs and missions to achieve success. We offer a breadth of professional support services in the areas of business management, communications, systems engineering, analysis, mission execution, and organization performance. BCS Allegient is hiring a Logistics Specialist to join our team at the Office of Naval Research in Arlington, VA.

This position is contingent upon award.

Onsite Requirements – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct day-to-day administrative and logistics functions to maintain ONR program documentation, tracking systems, and program process records.
  • Coordinate and manage meetings, including venue scheduling, attendee invitations and registration, audio/visual setup, security visit requests, catering, and agenda dissemination.
  • Document meetings and engagements with minutes and action items; track completion of action items and provide status updates to Government managers.
  • Provide executive support to senior Government staff with correspondence, scheduling, travel coordination, and special project assistance.
  • Maintain and update points-of-contact lists, program tracking logs, and other administrative records supporting ONR program operations.
  • Support planning and execution of ONR events, program reviews, and engagements; assist with outreach and communication coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
  • 2-year Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and recent experience with Federal Government programs; OR High school diploma and 10 years of recent experience supporting Federal Government programs.
  • Recent experience interacting with senior Government S&T personnel/executives in technology development, requirements, acquisition, and fleet/force organizations.
  • Recent experience with Department of War (DoW) or Navy programs specifically.
  • 10 years of experience with DoW programs; Navy preferred.
  • Recent experience interacting with senior DoW or DoN S&T personnel/executives in technology development, requirements, acquisition, and fleet/force organizations.
