About the Position

Onn Time Trucking LLC is looking for a reliable, professional, and motivated box truck driver to join our operation in Wilmington, DE.

This position is for someone who understands that transportation is a time-sensitive business. We need a driver who can show up consistently, communicate properly, protect our equipment and freight, and complete assigned routes without constant supervision.

Reliability is one of the most important qualifications for this position.

What We Expect

The driver must be prepared to:

  • Report to work on time and ready to drive
  • Arrive early enough to complete pre-trip inspections and be ready before scheduled pickup times
  • Complete all assigned pickups, deliveries, and routes
  • Follow customer, broker, shipper, receiver, and company instructions
  • Communicate immediately if a legitimate delay or issue occurs
  • Maintain professional communication with dispatch
  • Properly use transportation/load apps when required
  • Submit photos, paperwork, PODs, BOLs, and other required documentation
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Maintain a professional attitude with customers and warehouse personnel
  • Be comfortable driving throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and surrounding areas
  • Be available for longer workdays when the route requires it
  • Understand that start times and daily schedules may vary based on customer demand

Attendance & Reliability

Please do not apply if transportation to work, waking up on time, frequent personal obligations, or inconsistent availability will interfere with your ability to report for scheduled routes.

Our customers operate on strict appointment times. Repeated lateness, last-minute call-outs, missed routes, or poor communication cannot be accepted in this position.

We understand that emergencies happen, but dependable attendance must be the standard.

Driver Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean or acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to pass required background and driver qualification checks
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate when required
  • Experience operating a box truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred
  • Experience with a 26-foot box truck strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of pre-trip/post-trip inspections
  • Ability to safely back into docks and maneuver in warehouses, loading areas, and tight locations
  • Ability to use GPS and smartphone transportation applications
  • Ability to communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
  • Ability to safely handle freight-related responsibilities
  • Reliable transportation to and from the truck in Wilmington, DE
  • Strong attendance and work history

CDL is not required for this position if operating our non-CDL equipment.

Compensation

Expected earnings are approximately $60,000–$100,000+ per year for drivers who maintain strong availability and consistently complete available work.

Compensation and annual earnings can vary based on:

  • Number of routes completed
  • Route revenue
  • Driver availability
  • Customer demand
  • Length and difficulty of assignments
  • Overall performance and reliability

This is an earning opportunity range and not a guaranteed annual salary.

Drivers who want to maximize their income should be prepared to work consistently and take advantage of available routes.

The Driver We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

Shows up. Communicates. Gets the job done. Takes care of the truck. Represents the company professionally.

If you are dependable, serious about working, comfortable with transportation schedules, and looking for an opportunity where strong availability can lead to strong earnings, we encourage you to apply.
