Richmond Valley Veterinary Practice is seeking experienced Veterinary Receptionist (Customer Service Representative) to join our incredible team. We are a busy small animal practice located in the Tottenville section of Staten Island. This is an easy commute from New Jersey as we are 5 minutes from the Outer Bridge Crossing. Out of state candidates are encouraged to apply.


Candidate must have a flexible schedule, exceptional client relation skills, be a team player, and be able to multitask. Applicant must also be self-motivated and dependable. We prefer a candidate that is dedicated to the Veterinary field and is looking for a long-term career opportunity. Experience in the veterinary field is required for this position.


We are a full-service veterinary hospital. Days, nights, and weekend shifts are required for this position. Full time and part time positions available.


Salary range is $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

  • Be the Director of First Impressions: You'll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
  • Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
  • Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.

  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
