Responsibilities
The OPS Project Support Specialist provides administrative and project support for a grant-funded research and outreach project. Responsibilities include financial coordination, data support, technical assistance, and virtual assessment support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process project-related travel purchases and payments.
  • Assist with 3-D printing and basic technical support.
  • Track, organize, and support quality assurance of project data.
  • Assist with virtual test proctoring.
  • Provide general administrative and project support.
  • Support project logistics, including limited summer travel.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or progress toward a degree).
  • Experience with administrative or project support.
  • Experience with travel purchasing or financial tracking.
  • Familiarity with data management or quality assurance.
  • Experience with 3-D printing or virtual test proctoring.
  • Experience in an academic, research, or grant-funded environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new things.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated salary for this position is $20/hour for 20-30 hours per week.

Work will take place at the LSI office at Innovation Park (IPB) located at 2010 Levy Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32310.
This position does require some in-state travel over the summer. Additional in-state travel over the year may also be needed.
