Job description

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor of French position to begin January 18, 2021. This is a part-time position with a specialization in teaching French phonetics and pronunciation. Applicants must have a PhD in French by the date of appointment. For best consideration, all application materials must be received by December 01, 2020. 

Applications must demonstrate evidence of experience teaching French courses at the university level, as well as native or near-native fluency in French. Experience teaching French phonetics and/or pronunciation courses and familiarity with online teaching practices are preferred. The instructor will teach one undergraduate course in French in the Department of FLL and support the educational mission of the French program.
