Job description

The UNM-Valencia Campus is accepting applications for temporary,part-time faculty to teach Freshman and Sophomore level Mathematics andStatistics courses. If online teaching is needed, documented acceptedtraining and/or in-house training would be required.  Positions arecontingent upon the need of each semester as determined by student enrollmentlevels and current course offerings. This is a continuous recruitment beginningin the Fall 2026 semester.
Located about 30 miles south ofAlbuquerque in rural Valencia County, The University of New Mexico-ValenciaCampus is a two-year branch campus of The University of New Mexico, whichfunctions as a community college in the region and is designated a HispanicServing Institution.  With an emphasis on teaching excellence, ValenciaCampus offers academic transfer programs, technical programs, Adult Education,and Dual Credit courses to high schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a student body of over 2,000 students per semester.UNM has earned the platinum-level distinction from FamilyFriendlyNM.org for itsworkplace policies.
