DESCRIPTION:
Seeking candidates for a full-time probationary teaching position teaching secondary level science courses. Applicants must demonstrate thorough knowledge of differentiated instruction, strategies for active student engagement, use of instructional technology, and assessment for progress monitoring and planning. Candidates should possess the skills to meet the academic and developmental needs of adolescent learners in a culturally responsive setting.
SALARY:
Highly competitive, per Rush-Henrietta Teachers' Contract.
QUALIFICATIONS:
New York State Certification in Life Science: Biology is required. Additional science certifications preferred. Experience and certification in Project Lead the Way is preferred, or candidates must be willing to pursue such certification.
EFFECTIVE:
September 1, 2026
Attendance at New Teacher Orientation on August 25-27 is required.
