Description
West Virginia University's Potomac State College campus in Keyser, West Virginia, is seeking to develop a pool of qualified adjunct instructors to fill part-time teaching opportunities as they become available. The college invites applications for part-time adjunct positions to teach courses in person and/or online in the Applied Sciences Division. Applied Science disciplines include Agriculture, Business (including Accounting and Economics), Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Forestry, and Wildlife.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a master's degree in the field listed above from a regionally accredited college or university is required by time of appointment OR a master's degree in a related field and 18 credit hours and/or work experience in the field.
  • Previous college teaching experience is valued.
  • Successful candidates should demonstrate:

    • An understanding and commitment to utilizing innovative teaching methodologies and systems which actively engage students in the learning process;
