The Online Counselor, Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor with an active license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and challenges of each client, utilizing standardized assessment tools and innovative questioning techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are tailored to individual client goals, continuously monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Educate clients on coping strategies and self-care techniques that empower them to manage their mental health and achieve long-term well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Your clientele will encompass a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those facing anxiety, depression, substance use challenges, and eating disorders. Cultural competence and sensitivity will be essential as you work to build rapport and provide tailored support. You will engage with clients of all ages, ensuring that their unique life experiences and perspectives are considered in their treatment plans.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active and valid California LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and culturally responsive care.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.

• Experience in treating diverse populations and an understanding of the cultural nuances affecting mental health.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective therapy plans.
• Prior experience in a teletherapy capacity is a plus, highlighting versatility in service delivery.

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
