Job description

ALAY Home Care is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is Caring, Compassionate, and Dependable. The RBT will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior support strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).


Pay Rate: $35/hr 


Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies designed by the supervising BCBA.

  • Support reduction of interfering behaviors such as self-injury, aggression, and repetitive behaviors.

  • Provide compassionate, clear communication with families to help them understand treatment goals and recommendations.

  • Monitor client progress and report observations to the supervising BCBA for plan updates.

  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision sessions required by the BCBA.

  • Assist in data collection, accurate documentation, and carrying out behavior modification plans.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, special education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is Required.

  • 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification

  • Ability to work under BCBA supervision and follow established intervention plans

  • Background in working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental disabilities.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and experience with medical or clinical documentation is an advantage.

  • Solid foundation in behavior management strategies and special education methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth in behavioral health and developmental support.
