Job description

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician / RBT in Haverford Township School District!
OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening!
  • Generous hourly pay rate of $30 per hour

OPENING:
  • RBT floater needed in elementary schools, 8:30am -3:30pm (6.5 paid hours per day on full school day)

A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
  • The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support
  • The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA

To be successful in this role, you must meet all of the following expectations:
  • School-based cases, must have availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year
  • Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB
  • Maintain current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Crisis Prevention Intervention trainings. For this position, prior experience utilizing Safety Care and/or physical management techniques is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel between school buildings is required
  • The preferred candidate will have familiarity with using various methods of data collection

Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • National certification as an RBT - active
  • Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification.
  • Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs - preferred

CREDENTIALING
(Clearances current within 12 months)
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript
