Compensation Range:

Position Summary:

This is a tenure-track college year faculty position. Desire candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.

Job Duties:

  • Duties include course development, instruction, evaluation and academic counseling.
  • Supports the program manager in program operations.
  • Teaches and supervises labs as assigned by program managers.
  • Understands the program's mission, goals and student learning outcomes.
  • Participates in program assessment as needed.
  • Prepares course outlines, objectives and lab material as needed.
  • Maintains competency in professional discipline through professional development.

Required Qualifications:

The position requires at least a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree in Radiography from an accredited institution, a current ARRT certification, and a current State of Florida Radiologic Technology License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer applicants with previous college or university level instruction experience, and additional certifications, including Computed Tomography (CT) certification.

Supplemental Job Information:

A faculty screening committee will analyze the strength of your application materials. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States and Canada must submit a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www.naces.org). To complete your application, you must attach a copy of your graduate academic transcripts from an accredited institution of higher education, showing attainment of at least the minimum qualifications. You should include a complete online application, CV, cover letter, unofficial transcripts, and professional references. The faculty screening committee will select the top candidates for an interview that includes comprehensive questions and may require a teaching demonstration.

Pay Rate:

Faculty members will be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the contract with the faculty union.

  • Grade 3: Bachelor's degree in major field $49,515.56
  • Grade 2: Master's Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in field $51,934.60
  • Grade 2+: Master's Degree with 30 graduate semester hours in the field $54,594.23
  • Grade 1: PhD in major field $57,255.05

Up to four salary steps may be applied to the starting salary based on experience.
