REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Education & Licensing: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) and a valid California Veterinary License (or eligibility to obtain one).

  • Client Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain exam findings, diagnostics, and treatment plans to clients, as well as compassionately guide them through end-of-life decisions.
  • Medical Operations: Commitment to prescribing, monitoring, and dispensing medications safely, while maintaining thorough, efficient medical records.
  • Surgical Skills: Proficiency in general surgeries (e.g., spays, neuters, laceration repairs, abscess treatments) is a plus.
