Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is a company that values innovation and growth, seeking talented Software Engineers at various levels to join their team. The role involves adding features to the DroneArmor CUAS C2 software product line, integrating sensors, diagnosing software issues, and supporting demonstrations of CUAS capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Adding new features and capabilities to Parsons DroneArmor CUAS C2 Software product line.
• Integrating new CUAS sensors and effectors with the DroneArmor CUAS C2 software.
• Work with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), ICDs, etc to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Leveraging internally developed, CUAS specific AI/ML capabilities to diagnose and develop technical solutions related to software issues discovered during internal testing or by customers using deployed systems.
• Develop and code interface messaging software components to facilitate communication between systems.
• Supporting the demonstration of Parsons CUAS capabilities that you have helped to develop.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
• Junior – 2+ years experience or 6+ years experience in lieu of degree
• Journeyman – 5+ years experience or 11+ years experience in lieu of degree
• Senior – 8+ years experience or 14+ years experience in lieu of degree
• Lead – Masters and 10+ years experience or 16+ years experience in lieu of degree
• US citizenship is a requirement for position consideration
• Must have an active Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
• Expertise with Java software development.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing custom software algorithms and applications.
• Familiarity with COTS and GOTS software applications.
• Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Proficiency in coding interface messaging software components.
• Experience in designing, testing, debugging and documenting software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Senior/Lead Level: Experience interfacing with customers and collaborating on requirements development and test planning

Preferred:
• Experience with Atlassian Products & GIT
• Experience with Docker, Swing, React
• Expertise in with AI/ML algorithm development and training.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following disciplines: CUAS, Electronic Warfare(EW), Command & Control (C2), Radars, EOIR/Cameras and/or Communications Electronics.
• Experience working with or developing Geospatial Systems and processing/transforming geospatial data.
• Ability to mentor peers and share knowledge effectively.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites
• Specific to AI/ML roles within the CUAS group: Languages: Python (Expert), C++ (Intermediate/Advanced)
• Tools: Docker, Git, CMake, Confluence, JIRA. Bonus if experience with Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Experience deploying ML models to edge devices.
• Experience optimizing inference pipelines.
• Experience curating custom datasets.
