Job description

Overview
Adjunct instructor for lower and/or upper-level courses in the area of English for Methodist College
Responsibilities
Provide instruction to students as delineated by course curriculum.
Participate in Methodist College's general education assessment program.
Evaluate student performance in accordance with the course requirements and provide appropriate feedback to students in a timely manner.
Prepare effectively for class in a manner consistent with the course objectives and course outline.
Adhere to classroom protocol as established in Methodist College Faculty Handbook.
Respond to and evaluate student learning by appropriate means.
Grade papers, tests, projects and other assignments in a timely manner and gives appropriate feedback to students.
Submit grades to the Registrar at midterm and at the completion of the course.
Establish and maintains posted office hours to meet with students.
Participate in the annual College adjunct self-reflection and evaluation process.
Effectively deliver required course content in learning management software.

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is $25per hour - $41.75per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
