Job description

The group you'll be a part of The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes. The impact you'll make As a Technical Instructor at Lam, you'll deliver training to both internal and external customers on highly technical and sophisticated products.

Training is designed for maintenance engineers who are responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electromechanical equipment. Effective training of customers and Lam engineers directly contributes to increased equipment availability and improved performance across semiconductor manufacturing operations. What you'll do Conduct training courses for customers and/or employees at Lam's Training Centers on complex scenarios across multiple products.

Utilize performance-based equipment training standards (PBET) by performing hands-on training using Lam capital equipment systems, delivering classroom lectures, facilitating online classes, and utilizing mixed-media training strategies. Collaborate with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Validate the applicability of course material with course development team.

Prepare lesson plans from released engineering and field service documents. Willingness to complete training and qualifications in Tualatin, OR, depending on the products you will support. With potential for extended stays during the qualification period in the assigned locations.

Full relocation assistance will be provided if needed. Be open to travel up to 30% for the first year. Who we're looking for Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
