What is an online order pickup?

Online order pickup jobs involve retrieving items that customers have ordered online and preparing them for customer pickup at a designated store or location. Employees in these roles are responsible for accurately locating products in the store, packaging them safely, and ensuring orders are ready on time. They may also assist customers when they arrive to collect their orders and handle any related customer service inquiries. These positions are common in retail, grocery, and big-box stores, supporting the growing trend of buy-online, pick-up-in-store (BOPIS) services.
