What We Look For In a HSPT Math Tutor
- Advanced Test Mastery: Deep knowledge of HSPT Mathematics section content including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, measurement, data interpretation, and quantitative reasoning for eighth grade students seeking Catholic high school admission. - Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with HSPT Mathematics content and common challenges such as time pressure, multi-step word problems, and geometry concepts not fully covered in eighth grade curriculum. Adapts instruction using HSPT practice tests, targeted arithmetic drills, and geometry review materials to support eighth grade students preparing for competitive Catholic high school admissions testing.
