This is a 1.0 FTE position as a Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Jefferson High School. Applicants must be licensed from the State of Indiana in Math covering grades 9-12. Consideration will be given to applicants who are enrolled in a state-approved Transition to Teaching program or who are eligible for an Emergency Permit in Math assuming the prerequisite skills are possessed. Those already on a certified contract with the Lafayette School Corporation should complete an INTERNAL application by Friday, March 13, 2026. Candidates that are not currently on a certified contract with the Lafayette School Corporation should complete an external application through Applitrack.

Position Summary
Jefferson High School is seeking a motivated and student-centered Math Teacher to provide engaging instruction that develops students' mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will deliver rigorous, standards-aligned lessons, foster a supportive learning environment, and use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
