Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, Visiting Professor of Mathematics position. This position will be located at Regent University's Virginia Beach, VA campus.
Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Salary: For Spring 2027 Semester Only $25,000 - $35,000

Qualifications:
  • A PhD in Mathematics is preferred (master's with 18+ graduate hours in math may be considered)
  • Higher level math teaching experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and digital instructional tools

Essential Functions:
  • Teaching on campus and online during the spring semester of 2027.
  • Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that integrate mathematical theory with ethical and spiritual responsibility.
    Totaling 12 hours.
  • Courses that could include:
    • College Algebra
    • Linear Algebra
    • Discrete Mathematics
    • Calculus II
  • Working with students during your office hours
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
