Job Summary
This is a CONTINUOUS OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT for the University's Adjunct Instructor Pool. Tuskegee University seeks to maintain a pool of individuals who are qualified and willing to provide instruction to Tuskegee students. Individuals with experience and appropriate credentials in instructional areas offered at Tuskegee University are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be required to comply with internal academic policies and with external accreditation agencies standards/requirements in order to retain appointment.
Essential Job Duties
Adjuncts are hired on a part-time basis to augment the instructional needs that current faculty members are not available to meet. Qualified Instructors will be chosen from the Adjunct Instructor Pool to participate in additional application/selection processes as specific needs arise. Adjunct instructors may be employed to teach courses, make presentations, provide facilitation, or other service activities defined in the future at Tuskegee University as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A graduate or first professional degree within the discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, Modern Languages, Communication, Philosophy, Social Work, Visual Arts or Music) with a terminal degree highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability for on campus instruction for traditional course delivery
