Description: Paraprofessional: ISS, Classified Position, Level 4, 187 Days
Job Summary: Assists assigned teacher(s) in classroom instruction and activities as assigned. Assists teacher(s) in maintaining a classroom environment conducive to learning. Assists in meeting individual student educational needs. See Classified Salary Schedule at https://www.cartersvilleschools.org/departments/financial-services/salary-schedules
Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree or higher; OR 2 complete years of college with at least 60 semester hours; OR High School diploma and pass GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.
Reports to: Principal or his/her designee
Application Procedure: Candidates should complete the system application available at www.cartersvilleschools.org. Complete applications must contain a current resume, copies of transcripts of all college credit, or copy of high school diploma or GED, and 3 complete reference evaluation forms (available in the online application) to be considered. Upon hire, any transcripts needed for certification are to be emailed to dbrown@cartersvilleschools.org
