Job description

Role: Senior Java API Engineer
Type: Contract | Contract-to-Hire; new position
Client: Mindgrub - Energy / Utilities sector
Project: Mix of support and new features. Some of the work will be independent and some will overlap with an offshore engineer (Croatia) who works 3am - 12pm EDT
Start: June 1st or thereabout
Duration: December 31st with potential to extend into part / all of 2027
Location: Remote, Agile SAFe team environment
Time Zone: Ideally, 11am - 8pm EDT (includes a one-hour lunch break), however starting between 9am - 12pm EDT will also be considered
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen currently residing in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship
Requirements: Candidates must pass a standard background check and drug screen urinalysis
Rate: $55-57/ hr C2C
Equipment: Contractor will use their personal equipment; required software will be provided via cloud access
Interview Process (30 - 60 minute conversations):
  • Initial resume review by Mindgrub's Director of Mobile Engineering
  • Selected candidates will receive an online coding assessment (45 mins; issued via TestDome)
  • Technical interview with Director of Mobile Engineering
  • Final with team.
