Job Description

We are seeking passionate and experienced healthcare professionals to join our instructional team asPart-Time Healthcare Instructors. In this role, you will deliver high-quality instruction, support student success, and help prepare learners for careers in healthcare fields such as allied health, medical assisting, nursing support, or related disciplines.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, learner-centered instruction in assigned healthcare courses.

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.

  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.

  • Provide timely feedback and support to promote student success.

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and institutional standards.

  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom/learning environment.

  • Participate in program meetings, training, and curriculum updates as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's, Bachelor's, or higher degree in a healthcare-related field (required; level dependent on course taught).

  • Current licensure/certification in relevant discipline (e.g., RN, CMA, CNA, LPN, RT, etc.).

  • Minimum 2-3 years of recent, hands-on clinical experience.

  • Prior teaching or training experience preferred (but not always required).

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with instructional technology or willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience teaching adult learners or in a postsecondary setting.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).

  • Experience with hybrid, online, or simulation-based instruction.
