Description: Geology Instructor, Part-Time Faculty
Position Summary: The Geology Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, learner-centered instruction in geology and related earth science courses. This position supports student learning through effective teaching, assessment, curriculum development, and academic engagement. The instructor develops and teaches courses designed for transfer pathways, integrates instructional technology, and fosters inclusive learning environments that support student success.
Qualifications: Required: Master's degree in Geology or a Master's degree with 18+ hours in the field. Preferred: Teaching experience in Geology. Other: Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the community college.
Salary: $688.00 per credit hour; no benefits since temporary position for only the Fall 2026 Semester, August to December
Working Conditions: Duties are performed in the usual classroom environment
