The School of Business, Arts, and Sciences invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Fire Science and MPA Programs. This administrative position combines program coordination, student recruitment, academic planning, and teaching responsibilities in support of newly launched undergraduate and graduate programs offered in both traditional and online formats. The successful candidate will hold faculty rank as an Assistant Professor and play a key role in shaping and growing these programs while preparing the next generation of public safety, emergency services, and public administration professionals.
American International College recently launched the Bachelor of Science in Fire Science and Emergency Services, offered both as an online degree-completion program and as a traditional on-campus undergraduate degree. The College has also introduced a Master of Public Administration (MPA) program, providing students with opportunities to specialize in areas such as Criminal Justice Leadership, Fire Science and Emergency Services, and Emergency Management. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Business, Arts, and Sciences, the Coordinator will provide leadership for program operations, curriculum development, enrollment growth, assessment, and adjunct faculty support while teaching six courses annually across multiple modalities. Working closely with the Director of Public Safety and Administration Programs, this individual will help drive program quality, student success, and long-term program sustainability through innovative instruction, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to academic excellence and workforce readiness.
