About this position
The Ann Blanton Edwards School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Florida Southern College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach in our Exercise Science BS degree program. Applicants who are interested in being considered for adjunct instructor positions should submit their resume with the completed employment application. Please include in your cover letter a list of courses you feel qualified to teach. About our ideal candidate
The academic qualification for adjunct teaching at FSC is a master's degree with appropriate specialty and experience. Preferred qualifications for this position are in Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Kinesiology or similar fields. Terminal degreed applicants are preferred. Three years of professional experience is preferred.
CV or resume and a copy of unofficial transcripts must be provided with employment application materials; applicants must apply online. Candidate official transcripts must be on file within 3 days of the start of a teaching assignment. Please request official transcripts from all colleges and university work (showing the highest degree earned) and have them sent to the attention of Dr. Laly Joseph, Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, 111 Lake Hollingsworth Dr., Lakeland, Fl 33801.
Applicants who receive their degrees outside the U.S. are required to have their transcript (s) evaluated by an approved educational evaluation service. This evaluation must be done at your own expense prior to being considered for employment by Florida Southern College. Please
Note: Adjunct faculty members are appointed to teach on a semester-by-semester and course-by-course basis in FSC's regular undergraduate program.
