Job description

Max Pay Rate: $15/hr W2
 
Need to provide temporary staffing support to the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Water, Licensing Program. This request is made under State of Delaware Contract # GSS25112-TEMP_EMPL.

Following a recent retirement within our administrative staff, the Licensing Program requires a part-time Office Associate to assist us during this operational transition.

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

  • Answering telephone calls and handling public inquiries
  • Electronically filing, scanning, and processing documents
  • Accepting online applications
  • Managing incoming/outgoing mail and email
  • Assisting with public meetings, exam proctoring, and related administrative tasks

To accommodate the selected candidate, we are prepared to offer two schedule options:

  • Option 1: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (32.5 hours/week, includes a daily 1-hour unpaid lunch)
  • Option 2: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (35.0 hours/week, includes a daily 1-hour unpaid lunch)
