Position: English Teacher (multiple vacancies)
Location: Butler Intermediate High School & Butler Senior High School 
Employment Status: Permanent/Contracted Positions & Long-Term Substitute Positions Available
Certification Required: English 7-12 or Middle Level English 4-8
Salary Information: Per BEA Contract (Bachelor's Step 1: $51,907)



The Butler Area School District is searching for English teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Vacancies include both high school and middle level English. Both permanent and long-term substitute positions are available. 

The Butler Area School District requires all permanent new hires to be dual certified or to become dual certified within one year of employment. The District will reimburse new hires for costs associated in obtaining an additional certification.
