About the role
Harvard Recreation, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for Group Fitness Instructors to join the fitness team on campus in Cambridge, MA.
This is a part-time position. Instructors should be able to teach 2-5 hours per week, at the times our classes are offered:
Our classes are typically
*weekdays 7:15am, 12:15pm, 4:30-8:00pm
*weekends 9am-12pm, 4-8pm
Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit, Yoga, Pilates and Zumba.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
  • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

Compensation: $30 - $62/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
