Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Instructional Designer to join our Design and Development Team team located at the WinStar World Casino and Resort working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
The instructional designer will assist the training division and create and conceptualize eLearning trainings and microlearning's, including the online interaction and engagement within a course, as well as development of training activities, collateral and other training assets
Responsibilities:
* Prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts
* Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
* Maintain brand standards in print and digital design assets
* Plan concepts by studying information and materials
* Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concept
* Design training materials, including online trainings, micro learnings, booklets, flyers, handouts, and other collateral as needed
* Follow creative direction and style for current and new projects
* Collaborate effectively with an experienced creative team
* Participate in creative team discussion and meetings
* Ability to present clear ideas and designs
* Ability to translate and interpret an idea visually
* Able to communicate project status with interactive development manager, production coordinator and staff editor
* Manage tasks through digital project management tools
* Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
* Prepare press ready files to send to printer
* Collaborate with team members in brainstorming for marketing and advertising strategies
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
