Job description

Data Analyst

Randstad is looking for a qualified Data Analyst with a mechanical background in agriculture or heavy equipment to review and analyze large datasets.

Required Skills: Data Analyst, Agriculture, PowerBI, Excel

Job Duties:

  • Review and analyze large datasets related to agricultural machinery to identify trends and insights.
  • Generate problem statements that engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams can action.
  • Identify failure trends and make recommendations for the type of action needed as a first step in corrective actions.
  • Use SAP to facilitate failed parts returns from the dealer network, and track those parts back to the appropriate engineering staff for further analysis.
  • Update costing information within a change management tool, to accurately track product cost impact of past & upcoming changes.
  • Data entry and data cleanup for above tasks.

Job Requirements:

Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical sub systems

Strong Excel skills

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

Understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Python or R

Background in tractors, trucks, or heavy machinery.
