About the Role:

We’re looking for a Creative Marketing Associate who is excited about being a storyteller, a designer, and a passionate ambassador for our school. As an integral part of our team, you will help create powerful messages and materials that inspire and motivate girls and their families to always journey for growth. In addition, you will craft compelling stories that capture the magic of our school and broadcast it to the larger community. . We need someone who can think outside the box, build genuine connections, and market with heart.

Who You Are:

● Creative Storyteller: You have a fresh, fun approach to marketing and love crafting stories that resonate and inspire action. You can think strategically while keeping things engaging and visually compelling.

● Design Enthusiast: You love transforming ideas into visuals that pop. You’re

comfortable using a broad range of technology and design tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar). Experience with graphic design, photography, videography is a plus.

● Communications Pro: You have strong verbal and written communication skills, a knack for creative writing, and the ability to craft taglines and messages that stick.

● Growth-Oriented: You're adaptive to new situations and have a growth mindset, always looking for ways to innovate and improve.

● Brand Champion: You're not just marketing a school—you’re delivering a message that inspires students and families to grow, transform themselves, and recognize YSZ HS as the place that drives and supports that change.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

● Proven experience in a marketing role, especially in a school or nonprofit environment.

● Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.).

● Experience in social media management and content creation for multiple platforms.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

● Strong interpersonal skills in order to promote and mentor student leaders.

● Video editing and photography experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

● CraftInspiring Stories: Develop engaging content that showcases the heart of YSZ HS, inspiring current and prospective students, families, and the community.

● Lead Design Projects: Design and coordinate marketing collateral for admissions and school-wide programs, ensuring brand consistency and impact.

● Capture School Moments: Capture key moments and market them across social media and email platforms, bringing the YSZ story to life.

● Web and Social Media Management: Coordinate and manage website updates (basic website management is a plus, but not required and curate social media content to engage our online community.

● Event Marketing: Collaborate with your team to design and execute large-scale events, from Open House programs to community gatherings, ensuring each event shines and inspires.

● Swag Design and Spirit Building: Organize and design school-branded swag to

promote school spirit, creating memorable items that leave a lasting impact on students, families, and the broader community.
