Description
Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2026-2027, $2,053 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Other Conditions:
  • For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements.
  • Must be available to teach courses online and in person, either during the day, evening, or weekend.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Teach assigned courses in Information Technology (IT) and Information and Computer Science (ICS).
  2. Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
  3. Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
  4. Work under supervision of division chair and IT Faculty Lead in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area.
  5. As needed, work with multi-media and distance education tools and resources.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, ICS, or a related field, or comparable professional experience or appropriate professional certifications.
  2. Five years of experience in networking, programming, database management, or project management in industry or government service.
  3. Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. College teaching experience.
  2. CompTIA Security+ Certification
  3. Network+ Certification
  4. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification?
