Family Support Worker for Family Resource Center

  • The Family Support Worker is responsible for organizing and facilitating educational and support groups for youth and parents, providing community outreach, and assisting people to access community resources.
  • Must be able to work with diverse populations, network and build relationships, and work effectively as a team member.
  • Knowledge of parenting skills and child development, strong organizational and communication skills a must.
  • Experience working with individuals and families and familiarity with community resources required.
  • Must be able to utilize computer-based information systems and maintain accurate records.
  • Some Saturdays and evenings required.

Education: Bachelors degree and/or 5 years related experience preferred.

Minimum Required Experience: Experience working with families and networking with professionals. Relevant lived experience is desirable but not required.
