Job description

Speech Language Pathologist

Under the direction of the Coordinator, Special Education Department, provides services to pupils with speech and/or language handicaps in Merced County. This position is included in the certificated bargaining unit and is subject to terms of the union agreement regarding membership, payment of like fee, or donation to recognized charity.

Please carefully review the attached job description for minimum requirements. Only candidates who meet minimum requirements and submit all required documentation will be considered for an interview. The following information must be received before the deadline date in order for your application to be considered for this position: 1) COMPLETED Edjoin online application 2) Resume 3) Three (3) recent letters of recommendation (signed and dated within the last 18 months). 4) ALL college transcripts (JC and University) and a copy of the degree. 5) Copy of your California credential. Education: Completion of degrees necessary for issuance of credential to serve in the areas of language, speech and hearing. Credentials and/or Skills: Appropriate CA credential authorizing service as a speech therapist. Valid CA driver's license. DMV H-6 printout required. Experience: Clinical training and speech therapy experience including clinical practice with school-aged children.
