Pool Title POOL - Registered Medical Assistant Instructor - Continuing Education (Part-time) Pool Number F46-20 Announcement Summary
This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised.
The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.
We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings.
Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Teach face-to-face classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
Participate in faculty committees, appropriate workshops and other activities, as assigned.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Recruit and advise students who are in the program.
Monitor and improve student retention.
Minimum Qualifications
Active Certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Allied Health Instructor (AHI) with 2 years work experience with concentration in hospital clinical skills and or office administration.
Communication skills, both oral and written are required.
Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree or higher in Allied Health field is preferred. A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the classroom the community college or four-year college. On-line teaching experience.
