Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST
Pay Rate: $19.30 - $20.22/hour (depending on benefits & experience)
Job Type: W2 Contract, 12 months, possible extension

Our client is seeking a customer-focused Customer Support Specialist 2 to support customers through utility incentive programs, EV charging solutions, and home energy installation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working directly with customers and helping people from enrollment through installation. This role is primarily phone-based and plays a critical part in guiding customers through utility rebate and incentive programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contact customers to introduce support services and available utility incentives.
  • Determine customer eligibility for utility rebate and incentive programs.
  • Guide customers through enrollment requirements, documentation, and approval processes.
  • Maintain accurate records, notes, and status updates within Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Transition qualified customers to Home Energy Consultants for advanced consultation and installation planning.
  • Stay current on utility incentive programs, EV charging solutions, and home energy offerings.
  • Support occasional in-person dealer or brand events, particularly for team members located in Northern California.
Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of customer service, customer success, sales support, administrative support, or other customer-facing experience.
  • Experience managing multiple follow-ups and customer activities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in customer success, account support, inside sales, program enrollment, claims processing, or call center environments.
  • Familiarity with utility programs, rebates, incentives, EV charging, home energy products, construction, electrical systems, or related industries.
  • Experience working across sales and operations teams to support customer handoffs and process completion.
