Job Description
The Bakken Area Skills Center, is looking for a talented and motivated Aviation instructor to teach an
online/regional class for the 2026-27 school year. Applicants must have a North Dakota CTE Teaching
License, OR four years of industry experience. Salary is contingent upon experience.
The Bakken Area Skills Center is a newly formed Regional K-12 CTE Center in northwest North Dakota.
This position is a 9 month position and will be a part-time/ online position to teach one online/regional course.
Position is open until filled.
โ€ข Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years (8,000 hours) of work experience in an industry related field
โ€ข An associates degree in related field may substitute up to 4,000 hours
โ€ข Applicant must have or be eligible for a North Dakota teaching license or must have or be eligible to be
certified by the Department of Career and Technical Education in the area for Aviation &/or UAS.
โ€ข CTE certification must be achieved within two years
โ€ข Application form and resume should demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to meet
the minimum qualifications for this position
โ€ข Employment requires satisfactory completion of the interview process and verifiable record of satisfactory
performance in previous employment. A state and federal background check will be conducted on the final
candidate

Watford City, ND 58854: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
