Job description

East Mountain Veterinary Service is looking for an energetic, self-starting individual to join our growing fast paced practice. We offer a wide range of services for large and small animals and have a full-service hospital. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, work well with others, able to multi-task, self-starter, and move/learn at a fast pace. Candidate shall be proficient in all aspects of basic animal care to include, but also not limited to animal restraint, administering treatments, taking x-rays; blood draw, insert catheters, run lab tests, and maintain diagnostic equipment. WORK FULL TIME 3 DAYS PER WEEK WITH 4 DAYS OFF! Competitive wage for those looking to start their career in veterinary medicine, PTO, Paid holidays, health insurance, discount on services, paid CE credits, performance-based merit increases and bonuses. Experience and education preferred, but WILLING TO TRAIN the right candidate. Must be able to stand for 12+ hours per day, climb stairs, bending and lifting 50+lbs, work in extreme heat and cold, withstand sights and smells that are associated with ill/injured animals.
*** This is a fast paced, BUSY, high stress clinic. However, we do offer job security, health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, great earning potential that is performance based, and we are always looking for people to advance.
