Position Summary
La Salle University's Philosophy program (in the Humanity & Society department) has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Courses generally taught by adjunct faculty may include: Ethics & the Good Life or The Examined Life. These courses are generally offered in person, in the daytime.

Essential Duties
โ€ข Teach assigned course(s).
โ€ข Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives.
โ€ข Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
โ€ข Provide guidance and support to students.
Required Qualifications
โ€ข Master's degree in Philosophy or closely related field.
โ€ข Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
โ€ข Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Ph.D. in Philosophy.
โ€ข Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours
โ€ข Some classes offered may be in the evenings, on weekends, or online.
